About the Organizer

Regional AdministratorChristi Duke

Christi has been involved with pageants for over 2 decades, from humble roots organizing a local festival pageant in a small Northern Ontario town to having owned several national franchises. Originally from Canada, she now resides in the USA and actively scouts for delegates internationally using connections she made during her time as a director in Canada and as an international delegate herself.

Christi has been a part of pageantry in every capacity from director to chaperone, consultant, judge, board member, delegate liaison and even staff seamstress!

She held the rights to Miss Teen Tourism Canada and chaperoned Miss Teen Tourism Canada 1999, Darcie Friest, to compete in Europe. Darcie made it to the top 6, and won the internet voting at the international pageant. Christi also crowned, coached and sent Marisol Teijeiro, 2nd runner up at the Canadian Search for Miss Universe 1999 to compete in Germany at Miss Model of the World where Marisol was a finalist and won the title of Miss Personality.

Christi held the title of Mrs. Canada Globe 1998 and competed internationally at the Mrs. Globe pageant in Crete, Greece. She has acted as a director for Mrs. Globe and Mrs. World and has assisted many other married women to compete at these international pageants for married women.

In 2011, Christi became the national director for Miss Trinidad & Tobago International and sent Renee Bhagwandeen, a finalist in the Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe pageant, to compete in China at the Miss International pageant. Renee made history by placing in the top 15 at that pageant and has been modeling non-stop all over North America and the Caribbean since her return, many recognize her from Americas Next Top Model where she was a top 5 finisher. Renee got her start in pageants and is a prime example of how pageantry can help a girl to accomplish.

After 9 years as a successful event planner with a top rated caterer in Northeast Ohio, Christi knows the importance of the overall success of any event starts with planning and organizing. She is very hands on with the Midwest Regional Pageant system to ensure its success and to that each and every delegate is given the time and attention she deserves. In 2015 Christi was finally able to realize her dream of becoming an esthetician and now has a successful career in the beauty industry.
